Call For Stories: ASWAT – Palestinian Gay Women

Due to the great success of Aswat’s second book, and the growing demand of many women to submit their personal stories, Aswat is currently collecting new submissions for “My Right to live, to Choose, to Be” (part 2).

Why is your story important?
Because we live in a society that hides our existence as LBTQ women. Because there still are women who think that they are the only Arab LBTQ in the world. Because our stories embody our existence and our life, and no one can refute that. Because maybe you want to make a change but you didn’t know where to start, and now, through your story, you can.

What do we want in this book?
Your story. Your first Love. The first time you shared your sexual orientation with someone else. The first time you comprehended that you are not a heterosexual. The questions that you have regarding your sexuality. The challenges that you faced/still face as a non-heterosexual.
